Go Denmark

We support you. Freedom of expression is more important than ANY religion. Please don't back down, Denmark. Don't apologize for allowing free expression.

The cartoons weren't even that bad. Plus, depicting Mohammed is not a new thing:

And, by the way, the cartoons were published in September 2004. Long time ago, eh?

Looks like someone is just looking for any little reason to start some more violence, as if there hasn't been enough.

Indeed, Richard, I feel sorry for you Danes. Freedom of expression is a fundamental right. So is Lurpak - which should not be boycotted. As a colleague of mine so eloquently -and freely- expressed recently,

"Stephen, its a fucking cartoon"

Don't feel sorry for us! Takes more than a little pissing and moaning from the entire Muslim population of the world to smack down the Vikings! (yes, we are a proud race).

I feel sorry for Denmark, too, but you have my support and everyone who stands up for freedom of speech.

However, there are cartoons about other religions, but I have yet to see an outburst of this magnitude in their defense. It becomes worse in times of war/conflict/police action, or wtf you may want to call it. Still is it just a cartoon.

whoever says that the world is suffering from Islam is an complete idiot who has not a bit of knowledge about history...It's the european cuountries who started colonisation and discrimination if you claim that religion influences the attitudes, look at yourselves while assimilating poor countries..If Islam wouldn't exist, you would've had no idea of science,medicine,philosophy..You were burning innocents as witches at those times...You sucked the blood of poor..You can't learn to tolerate living with your neigbours..I highly recommend the activity of READING to ones who are persistent to think muslims are brutal!Even an illiterate can't say that...READ and LEARN the facts!!

If the freedom of speech means-for some idiots-to spit on beliefs,or mocking at others religions,I wouldn't like to come face to face with them..Unbearable lightness of freedom!that is stupid and unethical. That sounds like breaking into others bedrooms..I wonder if those ever have the sense of privacy!

Never have we attacked anyone in the last 5000 years of our existence…

Never have we insulted other religions…

Never have we converted people…

We gave the world more inventions than any civilization in the world..

Welcome to India, Welcome to Hinduism..

I feel like I need to clarify something. From some of the comments appearing here, it seems like there is the assumption that K and I are Christian. This is NOT the case. We are generally atheist, but I suppose, there are times when we'd go so far as being agnostic. Fundamentally, we are completely non-religious. However, I do like certain elements of Buddhism, Taoism, and perhaps a few snippets of various other religions (for example, we do our best to believe in Karma). Another interesting mode of thought is Deism. Check it out:

And one of my favorite film directors has been practicing Transcendental Meditation for about 30 years. Over the last couple of years, he has taken to spreading the word to others. Have a look at this:

To everybody who support discriminating another religion or suicide bombing against it: It's just some silly pictures drawn by some idiots who want more attention from the world.I'm not even sure they could draw. And sticking a dynamite to your butt just because of a few ugly pictures is wrong.
